Immersed in the history and heritage of the house of Dior for more than 80 years (1950-2020), Witherspoon began to shed tears of joy and inspiration.

The actress explained that she was visiting the museum for the first time since the COVID-19 regulations came into effect in March 2020. ..

The Dior exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, curated by Florence Müller in collaboration with Matthew Yokoboski, designed by Natalie Clinière, will be held on September 10 and will run until February 20, 2022.

Over 200 high fashion garments, as well as photographs, archived videos, sketches, vintage perfume items, accessories and several of her sources of inspiration are all set in a truly stunning environment.

The gallery celebrates the dresses worn by stars, from Grace Kelly to more modern celebrities like actress Jennifer Lawrence.

“I can’t explain in words how beautiful this museum is,” Witherspoon wrote in a video she shot in one of the exhibition halls.

“The year of magnificent Dior design,” she wrote in a video showing an ornate vintage dress high on the walls of the museum.

In another article she wrote, she slowly moved the camera to capture the “exquisite 1950-2020 dress” and the show’s elegant layout.

And when the tears started to flow, she turned to the camera and said “very beautiful”. Underneath the clip she wrote: “That’s what I’m a great emo.”

The Obama Portrait Tour at the Brooklyn Museum through October 24 and the upcoming Andy Warhol: Apocalypse exhibit on November 19 are not part of the general admission ticket, so a separate ticket is required.

All visitors over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination and valid ID, as the coronavirus crisis remains a danger.

Regardless of the vaccination status, you must wear a mask when visiting the museum.

Witherspoon exercised with 26.5 million fans and followers after revealing in an Instagram post that she shed tears while visiting the museum.

“Try it this week. Listen to musicians, go to museums, see dance performances. See how you feel,” she wrote.
