BUKU Music + Art Project announces the 2022 program

BUKU Music + Art Project, a cutting-edge boutique music festival, has announced the lineup for its highly anticipated return to New Orleans from March 25-26, 2022. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, dedicated fans The festival will finally have the chance to return to BUKU’s creative playground for a celebration of music, art and community.

Since its founding in 2012, BUKU has fostered a festival experience that reflects the progressive, artistic and diverse subculture of New Orleans. Participants can expect multiple indoor and outdoor stage environments, inspiring art installations, creations by local graffiti artists, pop-up breakdance teams and plenty of surprises for two unforgettable days.

For the 2022 edition, BUKU has once again designed a lineup that highlights some of music’s most defining and unique artists across a variety of genres. This includes headlining trims from Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala, Grammy-winning artist and fashion icon Tyler, creator and three of electronic music’s most renowned performers, Porter Robinson, Rezz and Alison Wonderland.

The immediate and long-term mission of the program is focused on using the BUKU platform to raise awareness of social and environmental justice issues, and to take action by organizing fan mobilization campaigns to generate donations and voluntary efforts in favor of various charities. and community organizations.

BUKU will continue this mission in 2022 alongside Upbeat Academy, a nonprofit that inspires and empowers young people in New Orleans through music education. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold to BUKU benefits the organization.

Beyond general admission tickets, BUKU will also offer two types of VIP packages.
