A beautiful day for a gothic wedding by a new company based in Dersingham
A new business offering something a little different has been started by Dersingham-based Jessica Jack.
Dark Broomsticks provide furniture, favors, balloons, and themed items to make a wedding a little spooky.
With a degree in wedding planning, Jessica aims to throw gothic themed weddings, bachelorette parties, even baby showers with a gothic twist.
She said: “It’s a new thing that I decided to do because it’s something you don’t see a lot. I recycle the furniture and provide black chairs for a gothic themed event.
“I have a ground level table with Gothic pillows that can be used any time of the year and not just on Halloween.”
Jessica intends to work with other local small businesses to provide food and at the moment she would be able to provide advice for an event for up to 30 guests.
She said, “People can rent furniture from me and I provide the installation as well. For example, I have a gothic themed cart and jars for candy and snacks. I design stickers which can be added to the candles to create the gothic theme. “
For anyone in the mood for a witch’s afternoon tea, Jessica provides the props and fixtures which include themed cake stands, a floor table, cushions, and an infusion tea set. witch.
She said: “It’s always something that I’ve always wanted to do using dark colors and weird stuff is getting more and more popular so I’m just going to go out there and see how it goes.
“There is nothing like it for people if they wanted a spooky themed wedding.”
The Dinosaur Dig and Pirate Treasure Dig are also available for hire for children’s parties allowing the little ones to find magical treasures and fossils.
